Spearheading Sustainable Developments

Promoting green design, construction, reconstruction and operation of buildings has never been more critical than now due to the ever increasing greenhouse gas emissions that are fuelling climate change rampantly. One of the greatest opportunities for achieving significant reductions in climate change emissions lies in how we create a sustainable approach in construction and development to protect and enhance the natural environment. Driven by environmental needs, Green Building Index (GBI) was founded to drive initiative to lead the property industry towards becoming more environment-friendly.

Going Green – Six Defining Criteria

Buildings can be certified as being environment-friendly based on 6 defining criterias:

  • Energy Efficiency
  • Indoor Environmental Quality
  • Sustainable Site Planning and Management
  • Materials and Resources
  • Water Efficiency
  • Innovation

Green Building Index – As an environmentally conscious developer, we set our benchmark to constantly meet GBI standards and aim to build homes with more than just roofs. Without compromising quality, standards and the finest finishing, we attentively focus on increasing the efficiency of resource use – energy , water and materials.

Apart from being environmentally concerned in developing our buildings, we also incorporate features such as recycling facilities, condensation water reuse system, rain harvesting system and solar panels.

By applying environmental efforts combined with our very own green philosophy vision, we believe that infrastructural progression and growth that pay extra attention to our natural surroundings can harmonise with the local climate and socio-economy.
