Another momentous event for EXSIM took place on 9 October 2024, when Maybank held its Maybank Industry Visit, a study trip to EXSIM.

Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (“MCMC”) has issued a letter dated 8 October 2024 (“the Letter”) stating that a restriction order has been issued to the websites and social media platforms to remove the baseless content (“the Post”) in EXSIM Official Statements issued on 2 October 2024 and 28 September 2024 concerning EXSIM Development Sdn Bhd (“EXSIM”), its association with EXSIM Hospitality Holdings Sdn Bhd (“EHHSB”) and EXSIM Capital Resources Berhad (“ECRB”).

Following the official statement issued on 28 September 2024, EXSIM has been made aware of unauthorised individuals and websites which includes but not limited to Facebook, TikTok and other social media platforms that are falsely disseminating and publishing defamatory and baseless allegations (“the Post”) concerning EXSIM Development Sdn Bhd (“EXSIM”), its association with EXSIM Hospitality Holdings Sdn Bhd (“EHHSB”) and EXSIM Capital Resources Berhad (“ECRB”). These false statements are damaging to our reputation and integrity.
